Introducing..... Cotton Rolo Snickers Gunter!

Chritsmas Day was so much fun! Other than the nasty weather, it was a great Christmas. I enjoyed watching Madeline copy everything Grace did and tried to take the all day fighting over new toys in stride. The kids loved everything they got and we just, 4 days later, got everything unloaded from the car.Luckily for me, I was super super busy taking care of the girls (barely) 6 week old Jack Russell puppy that weighs a pound! Hes a good puppy, but once again... Santa was smokin' crack just to make her kids happy. Maybe this ones a keeper.

Twas the Night before Christmas.......

Startin' the day off right...

Christmas Eve was finally here! The girls were oh so excited the WHOLE entire day and I tried to keep them busy as best as possible. Grace made a phone call to Mimi while Madeline chewed and licked on some ribbon.......

Grace decided to take full advantage of Madeline taking a nap and made some cookies for Santa. She loves to bake and helped Mommy break her diet that day with all the yummy icing!

For Christmas Eve that night, we went to Jamie's parents to exchange gifts. The girls had a great time and Grace loved her new bike she got. Mady really got the hang of opening the gifts and ripped through every one as fast as possible!

Snow Day!

We recently took a short trip to the Mountains with the girls' cousin, Savannah, to enjoy 6 inches of snow! They had a great time enjoying the most snow either of my girls have ever seen. There were some serious snow bunnies in the house!

They were having so much fun. They kept sledding down the hill and had no fear at all. At times Grace would take after her Mommy and say " Okay I want to go down the small hill". Mady, however, was full speed ahead and after falling off 87 times kept saying " Ohh Wee... dat was fun."

Madeline was a serious Snow Bunny! She kept saying she was tired, and when we didnt go inside, she took off her hat and layed down with her "Cat Mountain" (a little old, stuffed animal with ears that had been cut off?).

Madeline's Christmas Program!

Madeline's school had their Christmas program last Friday. She actually did really well and slowly moved her way up to the front so she could sing and do the moves. Big Sissy Grace played hookey from school to watch her and absolutely loved it!
I was too far away to get a clear shot!

Puppy Play Time!

Mady and her " Wa Wa" ( aka Chihuahua) decided to have a Puppy Picnic. They had such sweet fun with a one course meal of a plastic tomatoe!
* I have no idea why the pictures are so blurry!

Tub Time!

Tonight the girls actually thought they may get along and play nicely in the bath together. They had a good time with their new Hello Kitty bubble bath and Mady was planning on swimming outside of the tub when she got done with all the water she dumped out tonight!

Such a Sweetie!

Gingerbread House Fun!

This morning we decided to go ahead and make our Gingerbread House. They were very excited and ate most of the candy before it made it onto the house. Very fun project, but when Madeline is co-producer of anything, its always a treat to see how it turns out! ( God bless her. See last picture below.)

They really got into it. Grace wanted to make a walkway out front, and Mady was eating her skittles and gum the whole time.

The house turned out cute. Lookin a little like it belonged in East Camden, but cute. They loved licking their icing!

And the finished product. Very sad. Mommy cheated and used real icing instead of the icing that came with it, so it wouldnt set. (However, it was very shaky and with one quick movement from Mady, it was gone). But no worries, I taped it (yes taped it) back together so the girls would not be sad!

Christmas Cheer!

Today, after long days at school and work, we decided to put up and start decorating our tree. The girls are sooo excited about Christmas this year. Madeline was so happy when she discovered that night that " deers can talk. Dems was talking with dems friends" as she watched Rudolph. And Grace keeps talking about how shes just so excited about that Chihuahua Santa is bringing her. Wait a second!!!

Trying to find that perfect spot!
