Relaxin'!

This week has been so nice... nice weather, easy week and weekend! The girls have been relaxing after school and playing with Cotton. They enjoyed, for the first time in a long time, laying in the grass and enjoying the sun. We stayed home all this past weekend, and that was nice. Mady has never, ever, fallin asleep on the couch on her own. She fell asleep right after school while watching Max & Ruby... she was out- within 2 minutes. I checked her breathing and laid her in the crib!

So far so good... Grace is on her way to being promoted to 1st grade! She had her "sight words" tested this week. She had to know 100 (yes, 100!!!!!) short and long words! She did pretty well. To top off the nice week, we will be going to her schools "Frosty Friday" tomorrow night. Her school is having a dinner and a play. The rain must be coming through just for a frosty night tomorrow night!!!

Puppy Love!

I havent taken a whole lot of pictures this week, but I thought these were pretty cute so I decided to post them! Everyone is doing well, puppy and all! Cotton survived being stepped on, pinched and worst, being laid on today. Yes! Hes made it 2 weeks here!

Back In Our Routine!

Not much going on the past week or so, thank goodness! The girls had, again, a wonderful Christmas break and we are again back in the swing of things. Mady is obsessed (did I say obsessed?) with the new puppy Cotton. She constantly wants to play with him and finds such humor in doing naughty things to him ( such as pushing him, playing with the idea of letting him "swim" in the toilet, and the newest - " Im gunna gets a horsey backs ride on him".) She actually stuck her finger-swiftly- in the dogs water bowl this morning and tasted it. For anyone who knows me- I almost stroked out. I mean, seriously. Her reply? " Ims a dog. It was so yummy mommy."

Grace is doing great. Very much into fashion these days. She is really coming into her own and has really teased Mommy with school ( she is just like me in school- always trying to act like she doesnt know the answer, etc.) However, she does really well and loves Fridays, which is Show N Tell. Shes a sweet girl and was excited to "look cool" at school this morning! Oh, and she just changed her name to Bella. She had "Bom" written on her school work. When I asked her what is was- she said "Oh I changed my name to Bella yesterday." And so it begins....

Since we have had such a laid back week, I just took a few silly pictures!
